Spontaneous Donation
New support for the PSV
Bill Waldron and his wife Stacey from Portland, Main, USA, came to visit the Phuket Sunshine Village along with their Uncle Thomas Gottschalk, who is one of the board members of the Phuket Sunshine village foundation.
They got a guided tour and immediately fell in love with the children & the Child Care Center and decided to start some fund raising activities back home to support the village.
Before they went back home to the United States they left a donation of 1,000 US$.
Thank you very much Bill and Stacey from all of us here at the Phuket Sunshine Village.
A Donation Full Of Love
Dear all,
I just got a mail from a friend who recognized a few months ago what we are doing in the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation. He decided to contribute to our project out of a very nice reason… read by yourself:
I just sent my contribution for your great effort with Phuket Sunshine Village. The amount is ten thousand one hundred bhats . It is my donation in memory of my late wife , Ronalie David who loved teaching young children specially in developing nations . She passed away at tender age of fourty two in 1979 .
I am sure that had she lived and met your work and children she would have volunteered and given of herself as much as possible ; but ……..
Wishing you and your whole group continued great success and a very joyous annual function this Sunday .
Best personal good wishes / ASDavid ( crazydavid )
Thank you AS David and have a great and long life.
Ongoing support from Susanne Bayliss (Australia)
We have many supporters of the PSV which we are really grateful for. Here a story of one of our longterm supporters, Susanne Bayliss.
“”In September every year our school community all wear odd/funny socks on one day and to be able to wear these every one donates some money which I bring over and exchange to Baht.
Sometimes I bring Toothbrushes, undies, puzzles, other clothes. I also sell chocolates at works and other food items to Teachers and that money is given to your foster home / orphanage also.
Our school is called Jubilee Primary School and we are a Ecumenical school (Christian) on the Gold Coast of Australia you can look us up as we have a website.”"
This is a great story, and we are happy to communicate it to you. Thank you very much again Susanne for your great support.
If you want to help us, you are very welcome, as we finance the PSV only from generous donations.
